About This Project

In June 2018,  15 trainees from Cieszyn (Poland) did their two weeks´ internship in Seville building their own e-buggy car.

During their training, they carried out many tasks, such as:

  • Engine controller assembly
  • Electric part assembly
  • Testing the engine controller
  • Driving test
  • Assembling of breaks and direction according to the sketch
  • Assembling of tyres, median strips and break discs
  • Quality control of the steering and brake system, correction if necessary
  • Fabrication of the illumination parts according to sketch
  • Cutting profiles of the e-buggy according to sketch
  • Working on the ends according to sketch in order to adjust them to the other pieces

In addition, they had the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Seville during a Seville tour and learn some Spanish during Spanish lessons. They could also visit a company specialized in automobile sector where they acquired additional knowledge.

We hope that they will make the best use of this experience in their future. We wish them all great careers!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Mateusz_BiałońMateusz Białoń:

The practice in Seville was a great adventure. Our residence was very clean, beds were comfortable, rooms were big enough. Meals were delicious, too. The cook often prepared typical Spanish dishes like Paella and patatas bravas. In the old town of Seville there are lots of interesting monuments. For example, Archivo General de Indias which collects the most important documents of Spanish colonies. Our trip to Cadiz was the first one. The next week we visited Malaga, the most beautiful city, surrounded by mountains. We admired fantastic views from the Castillo de Gibralfaro. In my opinion, Malaga would be a better place for our practices. But Seville is also a nice place to stay. Our practices were a great idea of this Erasmus project. Creating our own vehicle was a great way to learn a good teamwork. The teachers were very kind and helpful. Smiling every time, they didn’t blame us for our mistakes. During the whole time of our work I learnt welding. It’s a great experience for me. During the first week we had Spanish lessons. Mari, our teacher, was great. Most of us learnt some new words and phrases.

Maciej BagińskiMaciej Bagiński:

My visit to Seville was a great opportunity to see this type of culture for the first time. Different architecture and language was something strange to me. I really enjoyed trips to Malaga and Cadis. I have learned some Spanish words at the language course and I could try Spanish food. I really liked roasted chicken in tomato sauce. The tutors were enthusiastic and very helpful. I was improving my skills in welding, cutting and grinding during the practices.
