About This Project

16 Polish students from Starachowice have done an internship in Seville, having a group training for CNC Operators. During their two weeks stay, they developed their professional abilities and new skills. They carried out several tasks, such as:

 

 

  • Montage of cut tool and raw material;
  • Control and verification of machining process;
  • Learning the basics of CNC programming;
  • Manual programming using a computer;
  • Understand the machining process using a computer and CAD/CAM software;

 

 

All of the participants fell in love with the Spanish culture and language, that they could discover during the Spanish class. They visited, almost always, sunny Seville during a Seville Tour and taste some local specialties during a Tapas night. They also had the opportunity to visit Las Setas de Sevilla. They came to Sevilla to visit Andalusia and Spain during some trips to Malaga and Cadiz. Beyond this, the Polish trainees could participate in an interesting study visit to increase their knowledge about their sector basing on the particular company.

We hope that our trainees learned many things during their stay that everything will be useful for their future work and private life. Surely, they will remember this experience for a long time.

A stay in Spain was wonderful and full of joy. Seville is a beautiful place with an exceptional landscape. I really like that people are open to other nationalities, they are very tolerant and kind to other people. We spent the nights in a nice hotel where every day we could taste delicious food. In Seville, we visited many lovely and interesting places. We also have been to other cities of Spain such as Malaga which delights not only with its architecture but also the sea and its a coast. We visited a lot of museums which brings us closer to the history of this country. The professional approach of our Tutor Frank made that we have gotten new skills and knowledge in our profession. Thanks to this trip I gained new experiences, I got to know  Spanish culture and I met new, fantastic people. I spent a great time here and I would like to repeat this.

When I arrived in Spain I thought it would be a beautiful country. I was not wrong. The Spanish culture is very interesting. I will come back to this place again. Their food is tasty I can eat it every day. The vocational training taught me to use CNC machines.
