About This Project

French students from the Lycée Polyvalent Frédéric Faÿs, Villeurbanne enjoyed a month in the capital of Andalusia, Seville. The apprentices did internships in the fields of CNC, Production Line and Metalwork. They worked in companies located in the industrial part of the city, so they visited many parts of Seville. They worked with Spanish mentors and were able to improve their communication and professional skills. During the day off, they had the opportunity to travel to the city of Cadiz. They enjoyed a sunny day at the beach and were able to see the historical monuments of the city. The students successfully completed their internship and now it is time to go back home.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Stéphen  BICAL

I did a lot of soldering during my practice. The company was fine for me. The mentor was really nice and he helped us every time. The company was in a different part of the city so we could travel a lot around the city. The internship was nice, I liked Sevilla city and I enjoyed a lot.

Karim DHIOUIB

During my first week, I started welding circular parts using the tig station and for finishing I used a molding machine to improve the appearance of the part. Then, the week after, I started to bend Z-shaped parts. I also helped a colleague to tidy up the machines. At the end of the second week another colleague explained me how to use the plasma machine, then I started to cut parts with the plasma laser. I learned how to use the plasma machine and how to bend the parts well. All the employees were nice to me and I thank them very much. I liked the internship in Seville.
