An ambitious group of 11 students from Valpovo, Croatia, came to Málaga in August for internships in the salesperson, locksmith and CNC operator professions.
The students gained experience in shops selling clothes, shoes, or toys, where they got to know their operation from the inside out. They were able to learn how the logistical aspect of their profession works, how to keep proper records of their goods, and finally customer service directly, which was a great opportunity to break down the language barrier and gain confidence, which will certainly come in handy in the future.
CNC operators and locksmiths gained experience in more industrially oriented companies, where, under the guidance of tutors, they were able to learn how to use modern tools and learn new working techniques.
In their free time, the students went for more than one walk around Málaga, which they also had the opportunity to view from the sea by going on a catamaran cruise. During their free time, the students visited the ancient city of Ronda, famous for its 100-metre bridge, and Córdoba, the capital of flower patios and home to one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world. Experiencing Spanish culture culminated in a tapas night, where, in a relaxed atmosphere, the project participants could sample local specialties and fall in love with Andalusian cuisine.
We wish the students every success in the future and hope that they will always have positive memories of their stay in Málaga!

I wanted to go to Spain because I already knew about this type of project and I was very interested in it. I was hoping to see new people new cultures new types of living and that’s exactly what I got here. Besides the job that is great people are also so good, friendly and relaxed, something I didn’t know will be here. At my job, I have learned a lot of new things and gained a lot of new experience. I learned how to rearrange show boxes by brands, how to register shoes on paper, and how to get new shoes in a computer program. I really enjoyed this journey and it was my privilege to be here and go through all these things.

I wanted to go to Spain because there i have my practice and i wanted to see Spain. I liked here beaches and my work. Food surprised me in Spain it is different. I worked at Randal System and my duties were to make programs. In Croatia internships are the same as here in Spain. In my free time I went to beach and did tours around Spain.
