16 students from Srednja Škola Jastrebarsko (Croatia) came to Seville last January to carry out their 2-week internship as E-buggy Developers.
The students had opportunity to put into practice what they had been taught at school. At the same time they faced the challenge of creating an electric buggy. Trainees were able to make cuts and interpret sketches of manufacturing parts, as well as their adjustment and correction. They have learnt also new interesting things f.e. how to use welding and hardware tools to assemble the chassis of the vehicle. They measured and reviewed the angles of the welding for quality control.
The trainees could immerse in an international environment. They visited Alhambra (Granada), Malaga including Picasso Museum. Moreover, they explored also beautiful places of the capital of Andalusia such as Plaza de Toros and the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz district. They were enchanted with the flamenco performance that they had chance to see. The group was able to learn more about Spanish culture and try local cuisine

I found my internship really interesting. I learned a lot of new things. The mentors are great. The workshop is good and well equipped. I am very interested in how it will turn out in the end.
The trips were great. I really liked the port, and the bullring in Malaga, and the city is also beautiful. I really liked Granada and its history. Seville is also beautiful. I spent my free time in the residence on the beautiful terrace.

I came to practice and the mentors first gave us pieces for practice. Then we started making parts for e-buggy. There is a lot of work at practice, but there is always banter. I have already learned many things, for example welding. We started assembling the parts and it is already starting to look like an e-buggy to me we have 3 mentors and all 3 mentors are good and they like joking around.
I came to Spain and immediately noticed a different culture. I really liked Granada, because of the medieval castle. I really liked the tapas in Seville.
