About This Project

In April of 2017, a new group of trainees arrive at their workplace. These 14 Croatian youngsters are ready to carry out an internship of three weeks working as video game designers. During their stay they were given the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice while improving their professional skills in the process. During their traineeship, the group carried out tasks such as:

 

  • Scripting in Unity
  • Creating terrain in order to use it as a base for the game
  • Creating user and PC controlled characters, adding auxiliary objects
  • Creating animations in Unity
  • Adding interactive interfaces to the game
  • Designing a silhouette

 

But the trainees’ stay in Spain was not limited to their internship. During their free time they were able to explore the gorgeous sites of Seville. One afternoon the trainees took part in a Seville tour and during the weekend they went on an amazing trip to Cadiz. We hope the trainees had a great stay and significantly expanded their knowledge about video design.

Josipa Sudic:

‘Sevilla is a really beautiful palace. I like the weather and people here. Architecture and landscape are breathtaking. I enjoy working in the city. The job I performed here is great and it was an excellent experience for me which will certainly help me in the future. I am really happy that I was given the chance to be a part of this project and hope I will return to Sevilla soon!’

Barbara Perkovic:

‘I love Sevilla because of its beautiful streets, architecture, landscape and the people are very polite here. This experience is very good for our future. Our job is very interesting because we learn a lot of new  things which will help us in our job search. I am really excited about this project because I really love working in 3D and it is a really great opportunity to be apart of such a project. I love the weather and it is just relaxing to be here. I am glad I am a part of this project and I hope I will come back here.’
