About This Project

During their work experience in Seville, these 16 croatian trainees from Šibenik learned more about renewable energies and Bioclimatic House Designing. They participated in theoretical and practical training courses and developed their knowledge and skills by carrying out several tasks, such as:

  • Creating the house furniture, the exterior walls, the interior divisions, the empty spaces and the different layers that will form part of the bioclimatic house in 2D and 3D using and managing PC editing commands;
  • Customizing the work environment;
  • Measuring and customizing coordinates and calculating room surfaces;
  • Creating libraries of blocks for installations;
  • Rendering and printing the plans of the Bioclimatic House.

Moreover, they learned some Spanish and some Andalusian culture during a Spanish course and a Seville Guadalquivir River cruise (with two study visits to the modern monument Metropol Parasol-Las Setas and the historical Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba). They could also visit the beautiful cities of Cordova and Granada.

We hope that our trainees learned a lot, both about their field of study and their personal training experience in a foreign country. We wish them all the best for their future like and work.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Bruno

Bruno Grubišić

‘I’m Bruno and I’m from Sibenik (architecture school). In Seville we had a very complete and intensive experience. We attended to Spanish course in the morning with our teachers Maria and Seyma. They taught us how to introduce ourselves, numbers, months, colors and many other things. Every day we were going in the school, where our mentor Manuel showed us how to draw in 3D in AutoCAD, print in 3D and some new things which helped us while drawing. He was very patient and kind and he was always willing to help us. I would like to thank our coordinator Natalia who made our trip as perfect as we expected.  It was really funny here in Seville and I will recommend this Erasmus+ project to everyone who loves to travel, learning something new or foreign languages.  I am so happy I was part of this and I hope I’ll come back here in Seville very soon!’

Tijana

Tijana Ivanišević:

‘My name is Tijana and I took part in an Erasmus project. During two weeks I attended a training course focused on Bioclimatic house. The practice was held by our professor, Manuel. We started by constructing blocks in AutoCAD as well as other interesting assignments Manuel explained to us with patience and commitment. At last, we used our new knowledge to construct our own bioclimatic house. Apart from our practice, we were taking a Spanish course which greatly helped us in day to day communication. During the weekend we visited two beautiful cities, Cordoba and Granada. We saw amazing buildings and had a great time. I think that the Erasmus+ project could help greatly my professional career because I have acquired a lot of new skills. Aside from learning, I learned a lot about the Spanish culture. At last, I would like to thank all those who made this amazing experience possible and I hope I can come back to Spain in the future.’

Ivona

Ivona Jurišić:

‘My name is Ivona. I am an architecture student from Croatia (Sibenik). I am part of program Erasmus+ (bioclimatic house). First, I want to thank everyone who allowed me to participate in this project. I am delighted to be part of this group. I learned a lot of new things that I will certainly apply in my future education. Our teacher Manuel taught us how to do 3D modeling using AutoCad program and he showed us how to print in 3D. I also took attended a Spanish course language, it was well organized. I learnt how to introduce myself, and basic expressions very useful for our daily life in Spain. I’m deeply satisfied with my experience in Seville.’
