About This Project

In April 2017, 14 trainees from Salon de Provence (France) had the opportunity to do a work experience in Seville.  Most of them came from different study fields and worked in different sectors so that they could practice what they had actually learned at school: reception and customer services, administration, retail, child and elderly care.

The trainees have enriched their knowledge and improved their conversation and practical work skills by carrying out several tasks.
The nursery teacher intern was planning educational activities and providing children with basic processes of social interaction. The trainees from the shop sector were dealing with customer service and supporting the sales process. In reception sector, they were assisting in welcoming the guest to the hostel and arranging reservations. The trainees from the administration sector were providing information about the company and they were creating and modify documents using Microsoft Office. The trainee from the elderly care was offering information and support to patients.
All of the trainees participated in a Spanish course, where they could learn simple, everyday expressions, and they could practice the vocabulary from each sector. Moreover, the group went on a walk around Seville. During the walk, students could get to know Seville better and see all of the most important monuments and places.

We hope that our trainees learned a lot, both about their field of study and their personal training experience in a foreign country. We wish them all the best in their future life and work.
