About This Project

These 10 Polish trainees stayed in Seville for a two-week internship in the sector of renewable energy. During their stay in June 2015, they carried out tasks such as:

—

  • Designing and performing cost calculation of a photovoltaic installation with the use of computer.
  • —Aseembly of a mini wooden house – assembly of a sloping roof.
  • —Assembly of an electrical box.
  • —Installation of an electrical wiring installation – AC circuits.
  • Assembly of solar energy wiring system.
  • Familiarizing with 64 kwP solar energy plant operation connected to the electricity grid.

 

The trainees also had the occasion to visit a large solar plant, to take part in a Spanish course, to visit the royal bullring, to go on a Seville tour and to visit the cities of Cadiz (Andalusia, Spain) and Tavira (Portugal)!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Konstanty Żołnierewicz:

‘I enjoyed my stay in Seville. I had the opportunity to acquire new skills and enrich my knowledge. Among the many tasks I performed, I liked most assembling a wooden house and photovoltaic panels. Moreover, I learnt a lot about Spain, its culture and history. Certainly, it was a great project.’

Wojciech Michoń:

‘I am truly glad I could be a part of this project. I have learnt many new things such as photovoltaic system installation, electrical wiring and got to know the newest technologies in the field of solar energy. At the beginning, it was hard to carry out the tasks I was asked to do, but with tutor’s help everything became much easier. In addition, I had a great opportunity to get to know Spanish culture and basics of Spanish sign language.’
