About This Project

For a full month in May 2017, this group of 7 from Slovenia stayed in Seville to carry out internships in the fields of CNC and administration. During their stay, the trainees carried out various tasks, such as:

Controlling payments
Updating payments, schedules, class shifts, recoveries of the classes
Balancing the cash register of the school
Interpreting plans
Operating and monitoring machines for cutting, drilling and cleaning the metal
Cleaning, lubricating and carrying out maintenance of the machine

During their free time, the trainees fully got to know the cultural aspects of Seville and Andalusia! They visited the city of Seville, enjoyed a flamenco show, went to see a football match, spent a day at amusement park Isla Mágica, saw a bullfight, enjoyed the views of the city at Metropol Parasol, visited the General Archives of the Indies, walked through the gardens of the Royal Alcázar and went on a daytrip to Cadiz. It’s safe to say they had no time to get bored!

‘I think the practical experience was very educational because we meet a lot of nice people and we saw a Spanish way of working.’

Domen Barbiš:

‘Actually, my opinion is good. I like most of the things that I have seen here. I do not like fried food every day. I like the city, my work placement, tutors and mentors. People here are really friendly.’
