About This Project

Slovenian trainees undertook an exciting 4-week training. During this period, the students were able to acquire new skills and knowledge during their internship, as they had several missions to accomplish.

In order to provide the best possible training to these students, specialized in computer and electrical engineering, they were placed in two different companies.

During the internship, the students were able to install, assemble and upgrade hardware, manage the use of measurement and control devices, but also deploy new versions of code in the production environment. Among many other missions, these were at the heart of the main objectives to be achieved.  Some students had the opportunity to apply their knowledge on the use of professional quality vector graphics, and also gained knowledge on how to use and work in Flask, a micro web framework written in Python.

This professional experience has been a success for both students and companies. We are delighted to have been able to contribute to it.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

NIKA HOČEVAR

I chose this programme because I always wanted to travel and see the world. I worked at a company where I learned how to use Python flask and Inkscape. Our mentor was very nice and taught me a lot of new things. The places I visited that stayed in my head the most is the city of Cádiz and the beautiful river that flows through Seville. I also learned a bit of Spanish. This was my first time in Spain and I definitely want to come back soon! Spain is a very beautiful country and it is also very big compared to Slovenia! I am very grateful that I got an opportunity like this, and hopefully another one in the future.

GAJA VDOVČ

I came to Spain because of a traineeship abroad that Erasmus+ supports. I worked in a company where we developed interactive maps. First, we learned the basics of python, HTML and flask. Later on, we learned how to work with Inks cape. And then we learned the most challenging thing; how to combine both programmes. The traineeship was very pleasant and I learned many new things. I also attended Spanish lessons, where I learned some basic Spanish words and phrases. In my free time I walked around Seville, discovering its beauties. I was especially fascinated by its parks and architecture. While staying in Seville I also visited Huelva, Cadiz and Cordoba. The history these cuties hold is truly amazing.
