About This Project

A talented group of 15 students from Colegiul Tehnic de Cai Ferate “Unirea” (Pascani, Romania) came to Seville in February to carry out their 3-week internship in a company related to computer aided accounting.

The group got to know the working procedures of analysing the General Chart of Accounts in order to record events and transactions with the help of specialized softwares. They could carry out tasks such as inventory management, customer management, supplier management, treasury, salary calculation, etc. The students gained  professional knowledge and skills which will be helpful for them in the future.

After practice, they could enjoy the city and immerse themselves in Spanish life. They visited, among others, Real Alcazar, Metropol Parasol, Plaza de España or Museo de Bellas Artes. During one of the weekends, the group visited Ronda where they could discover one of the oldest bullrings and enjoy beautiful landscapes from the famous Ronda´s bridge. They were also fortunate enough to enjoy the good weather. Moreover, their afternoon free time was enriched with Spanish language course! We hope you came back home with a lot of experiences to share!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

GEORGIANA-ELENA EPURE

I am very happy that I had the opportunity to participate in this project because I have achieved a goal that I had for a long time. I really liked the internship; I am very pleased that I learned new things that will surely help me in the future.

In the first week I had the theoretical part which I found very interesting. We talked about income, expenses, balance sheet, profit, loss, but we also learned a new method of solving monographs called dual match system. From the second week I started the practical part on Holded, a useful accounting software. I learned how to draw up invoices, how to create the VAT rate, add a discount on products, but also how to make entries. I really enjoyed working on this software because it is very developed and everything work such faster.

In addition to the internship I really enjoyed the visit to Ronda, but also the tour in Seville. The architecture here is great- Actually it makes you sit for hours to admire it.  I really enjoyed this Erasmus experience!

LORENA CARP

Recently I have participated on a three-week internship, on economic field, within Erasmus+ program. At the practice, I learned a lot about the accounting software -HOLDED, which is a cloud platform for small busnisses capable of small invoicing, accounting, CRM, project management, inventory management and human resources management from a single platform. I learned how to record invoices, register new customers and how to register purchases. Every day we learned more and more and the classes were really interesting and captivating.

By joining this project, I had the opportunity to see a beautiful country with gorgeous cities. For example, Ronda, has a beautiful location and amazing viewpoints with beautiful old buildings and the bridge, which is impressive and the cliffs looks unreal. I really loved it. Sevilla is a very peaceful city and has many places to admire.

I am happy that I had the chance to take part of this project, I learned to be more responsible and caring, and I developed how to be financial literate. Thank you for giving me these opportunities!
