About This Project

Last June we welcomed sixteen students from Industrijsko-obrtnička škola Slavonski Brod in Seville for a successful two-week internship. The students came to do an internship in the field of renewable energy as smart house installers. Throughout their internship, they learned about solar energy qualities and risks, types of photovoltaic cells, and dividing panels. They gained expertise in measuring voltage, using a multi-meter, and understanding controllers. Moreover, the students designed solar installations on computers and installed plumbing systems. We’re proud to have equipped them with valuable skills and knowledge that will help them in their future career.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

TONI STROLENI

I am currently studying at an industrial-craft school in Slavonski Brod. I am training to become an electrician. On June 4, 2023, I had the opportunity to travel to Seville, Spain for a two-week internship as part of my program. During the initial phase of my practical training, I had the chance to work with solar panels, home installations, solar fields, and also learned how to create switchable cabinets. This experience has provided me with valuable theoretical knowledge and practical skills. My time in Seville has been incredibly beneficial, educational, and interesting. I highly recommend participating in these types of mobility programs as they offer priceless knowledge and experiences that cannot be replaced.

MARKO DANKIĆ

I am a third year student at induskrijsko-obrtnička škola Slavonski Brod and I am an electrician. I came to Seville to broaden up my knowledge about my profession. Coming here I learned a lot of theoretical stuff about solar panels. During our practical work I learned how to use my previous knowledge. Thanks to this trip to Spain, I gained a lot of knowledge and I was able to evolve my professional skills. In my opinion, people should take part in the Erasmus+ project because it is a great opportunity to learn and see a lot of stuff that you would not have the chance to see anywhere else.
