About This Project

Úbeda has welcomed 14 wonderful trainees from Osijek Croatia. These young people, specialised in agriculture, learned, through these two-week internships, how to apply technological processes in agriculture. Specifically, they were able to measure and analyse olive crops using drones and geodetic devices.

In addition, in their free time they had the opportunity to get to know the best of Andalusian and Spanish culture.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Dejan Savic

I wanted to go to Spain to meet new cultures and new people. In Spain, I liked the sights and food and the city of Ubeda the most. I worked in a Agriculture engineering company. There we worked on the laptop in the AutoCAD program, then we went to the olive grove where we measured the width of the plot, flew drones and created 3D figures in the Tinkercad program.

Manuel Ivanišić

I have only good words to say about this Erasmus+ experience. Through this two-week internship I have developed my skills in agriculture. We have learned how to use new technologies, for example drones, to measure and analyse different crops. Úbeda is an amazing place. I really liked the warmth of the people, the beauty of the monuments and the amazing weather. We were able to get involved in the Spanish culture thanks to different activities organised by Euromind, for example trips to Granada, Baeza or tapas tasting. I would recommend this experience to everyone
