In mid-April, 8 students from Warsaw arrived in Malaga for a two-week placement in catering. They worked in different kind of restaurants and showed up their skills as cooks.
During their journey, they had plenty of free times during which they roamed Malaga city center for an entire afternoon. They had the opportunity to visit Gibraltar with its beautiful natural reserve and the monkeys. They also crossed the famous Caminito del Rey – the wonderful landscapes need to be seen at least once in a life.
We are absolutely convinced that this experience was helpful for them and after that they grew professionally, culturally and personally. It was a pleasure meeting such curious and dedicated students. Hope to see them soon in Malaga!

I had an internship at a restaurant where they mainly serve seafood, salads and various beverages. I did various things that were assigned to me, such as cutting vegetables or seafood. I liked it in that restaurant, people were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. The work there at the restaurant was different from the work I did in Poland. I hope to visit Spain again.

One of the things I really love about Spain is its vibrant and lively atmosphere. Always something going on and people having fun at local bars or restaurants. I was learning to cook at a restaurant. My responsibilities included cooking, cleaning and serving food. In my free time, I loved exploring the city and its surroundings. I visited several nearby beaches, hiked in the mountains, and cycled around the city. Overall, my experience in Malaga was amazing and I am grateful for the opportunity to spend two weeks there working in such a beautiful and interesting place.
