A group of 7 students from the Polish school Zespół Szkół Ekonomiczno-Handlowych w Olsztynie im. Polaków spod Znaku Rodła were welcomed in Sevilla in order to take part in a two weeks internship program in the field of marketing. During the time they spent in Spain they could sharpen their abilities working in different stores of Sevilla. In particular they took care of product placement, they were in charge of uploading pictures on the webpages in order to promote the merchandise, they sent informative emails and they prepared advertisement material to post social medias. Furthermore, they performed office tasks, they were in charge of cutting, decorating and labelling all different types of printed materials ordered by customers, and of conceiving, designing, modifying and creating images using programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel. It has been a very profitable experience for the students, who got the chance to acquire new skills and to put into practice what they learnt at school.
Julia Wiech
My name is Julia Wiech and I am 18 years old. I completed a two-week internship at Euromind. The areas I dealt with included marketing, public relations and advertising. I wrote a marketing plan for the company, presented strengths and weaknesses in the SWOT analysis. I was mostly responsible for running social media, creating posts for instagram, short videos for the website. In Canva, I made graphics that have been used for further necessary marketing activities. Internships helped me a lot in overcoming the language barrier. I will remember for the rest of my life this new experience. Improving competences and personal development is something I cared about the most. Sevilla made a big impression on me, the beautiful views of the city delighted me every day. The communication is excellent, it helped with getting around the city with ease. I was also on two trips in Cadiz and Ronda. On our way to Ronda, we stopped at the small town of Setenil de las Bodegas, an attractive town with its fabulous architecture. Ronda turned out to be beautiful, and the views I saw will stay with me for a long time. Cadiz, lying on the ocean, enchanted me from the very beginning. The modern residence where I had the pleasure of staying for two weeks provided everything I needed. Delicious food, access to everything, cleanliness in every respect. Erasmus+ is a program that I would recommend to everyone. A number of new experiences and opportunities, knowledge that helps in further personal development.
Julia Jakobsze
My name is Julia Jakobsze. During my internships, I gained the opportunity to test my skills and to write a company marketing plan with an emphasis on SWOT analysis. Furthermore, I wrote posts on social media such as Facebook and Instagram and I got the opportunity to show my ingenuity – I proposed solutions to attract new potential customers. Thanks to the internship, I felt more confident in the marketing industry and improved my communication skills in English. After practices, I spent time with my group visiting the beauty of Sevilla. We visited a lot of different places and each of them had a specific meaning in history. I visited the amazing landscape of cities outside Seville and I was impressed by the Spanish architecture and the amazing views that I could see thanks to the Erasmus+ program. I saw a lot of different cultures and got to know Spanish traditions. I am very pleased and if I could, I would come back here to experience it again. This is an irreplaceable lesson for me that will stay with me for a long time.
