About This Project

In April, we welcomed a group of 12 talented students from the Sint-Ursula-instituut who completed a 3-week internship with us in Seville. The internship provided the students the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of fields including kindergarten assistance, reception, IT, fashion marketing, shop assistance, and tour guiding. Throughout their internship, the students were responsible for a range of tasks such as planning educational activities, managing visual advertising, supporting sales processes, and welcoming guests. As IT technicians, they also gained experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic circuit boards. Additionally, they provided valuable information to tourists as tour guides about the beautiful city of Seville. We’re confident that the skills they’ve developed during their internship will serve them well in their future careers.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

LAURA CORREA VARGAS

I recently worked as an intern at a flamenco clothing shop in Sevilla, Spain. Thanks to Euromind we learnt a lot of things and really enjoyed it. In my work I packed dresses, answered emails, and handled phone calls. The experience taught me valuable skills, including proper dress organization and communication. I also gained insight into the flamenco culture, and the welcoming work environment allowed me to explore the city. Overall, it was a rewarding experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity.

LIEN WILLEMS

The field of study I am following is Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the Sint-Ursula Institute in Lier.  I am currently in my final year and I had the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ project.  Thanks to my school and Euromind, I got the chance to stay in Seville for 3 weeks for doing internships. My tasks were to organize products, help with the customers and many other things.  We also had Spanish lessons few times a week.  This allowed us to make a progress with our Spanish. Erasmus is something I would do again in a heartbeat and definitely I recommend it to everyone.  It is a unique adventure and you learn a lot of things and get the chance to have beautiful memories.
