About This Project

In May we hosted a group of Romanian students who participated in a two-week professional internship program in Seville, gaining practical experience in the basics of graphic design, using virtual reality programming. Throughout the internship, the students were exposed to tasks including experiencing VR using different devices, creating and setting up scenes to display environments, exploring the functions of animation, materials, and lighting. They had the opportunity to learn how to apply this knowledge in multidisciplinary fields, achieving the development of their own project in VR. We are happy to have equipped them with skills that will accompany them in their future endeavors professionally.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

ANDREI BEJINARU

I knew from the start that this would be an opportunity for me to learn something new in a domain where I have never worked in before. I worked in VR. We started with a small introduction to Unity, and after that, we started doing simple things in the engine. We made a map and added some objects while gradually increasing the difficulty. Our tutor was Damian, who is very good at what he is doing. He was very patient with us, every time someone had a question, he stopped what he was doing to come and help us, and he was very understanding. We stayed in Sevilla and I can say that the city is very nice, very clean, and people are very friendly. Overall, I felt good here, and I hope that I will get another chance to take part in another Erasmus Vet project.

FRANCESCA ADRIANA FEDOR

Through this opportunity given to me by Erasmus with the mobility in Spain, I have learned so many things; from how to develop a game to how the culture is, in Spain. I loved everything, the place we stayed in, the food, even the way our learning activities were. The environment was a great one. Damian, the tutor from V-Art Company, was very patient with each of us and explained everything as many times as necessary for us to understand. I am proud of myself because now I have some experience in this domain and that I can start to learn everything to another level, thanks to the bases that I have fixed in here. I cannot wait to show my classmates everything we learned and did, in order to teach them the importance of travelling and to show them how to create their own Unity projects. The learning activities were very useful. Virtual Reality is something new, revolutionary that will help us adapt better to the new technology so I am happy that we had the opportunity to learn about something so recent. Spain is a beautiful country to visit. I love the fact that after the program we had the opportunity to see the beauty of this place. I am speechless when it comes to their architecture, nature and harmony.
