On March 1st, this French group from Salon-de-Provence arrived in Seville, ready for their one month abroad. The trainees carried out internships in various host companies in the fields of sales, administration, reception, retail and child care. They carried out tasks such as:
Next to that, the trainees were given Spanish classes to improve their communication. We are sure they will greatly benefit from the skills and competences acquired abroad and wish them the best of luck in their future careers.
‘I liked my internship, because my work colleagues were very kind to me. If I didn’t understand something, they would explain it to me again in other words. And also, when I didn’t understand what the customers said, I asked them if they could speak slowly, and explained that I’m french, and I’m here to learn Spanish. The employees taught me to speak well. I spoke a lot the first days. The employees also taught me many things about sales and trusted me.’
‘I work at a company where I arrange the logistics, I took care of the inventory of stocks. I like my company a lot because there are many people and they are quite nice with me. All these people often come to talk to me and teach me some words in Spanish, in return I teach them words in French.’
