These 20 Polish trainees from Poznań started the new year off on a good note: with an internship in Seville! The trainees stayed for two weeks working on solar energy and building a solar house, thereby working on all the phases of this project: the plumbing, the building, the electricity and of course: the solar energy itself! Some of their tasks included:

• Designing, calculating the costs of solar and photovoltaic system
• Assembly of home’s electrical installation: cabling, sockets, lightening, doorbell
• Assembly of solar photovoltaic systems: connected to electrical power network, autonomous/off-grid, solar pump
• Service and maintenance of photovoltaic systems

Apart from that, they also paid several study visits to companies working with solar energy. The trainees also participated in Spanish classes to train the vocabulary. We hope the trainees learnt a lot and that they’ll be able to use their newly acquired knowledge in their home country.
