About This Project

In March 2019 we were happy to welcome in Malaga a group of 20 polish students from Kwidzyn, who came here for their internship as housekeepers, cooks, and paper technicians. They stayed with euroMind for four weeks, which apart from learning were full of new experiences and fun.

During their internship the cooking trainees among many other tasks were preparing the ingredients for consumption or cooking, washing, peeling, cutting fruit and vegetables as well as cutting meat, checking the quality of food, tasting, smelling, punching with utensils, weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes and personal judgment with the use of available kitchen appliances and equipment.

Those working in the field of housekeeping were checking if the rooms have been vacated before cleaning, making beds daily and changing bed linen, vacuum cleaning carpets, floors and upholstery. cleaning bathrooms and supplying fresh towels and toiletries.

Finally, students in the field of paper technicians were mainly printing all materials received by customers, performing basic tasks related to the service and the maintenance of printers and another kind of
machinery, distributing of printed materials, saving and archiving documentation, and also developing administrative tasks related to customer service and use of office equipment.

At the weekends the whole group had an opportunity to visit the most beautiful places of Andalusia with our euroMind team. They have been to Gibraltar and have also discovered Malaga with its culture and language. They also eagerly participated in many afternoon activities such as Tapas Night.

I am very happy that I could spend time in such an amazing and beautiful city as Malaga.
It is a fascinating experience for me, thanks to my stay in Spain I have learned a lot. I got to know a
new culture, language, many wonderful people, and also had the pleasure to try seafood which was
very exciting for me. The place where I was doing my internship was filled with a nice atmosphere,
warmth and friendly people, thanks to them I learned a lot of new, useful things that I will definitely use in my profession as well as everyday life. Thank you very much!!!
