At the end of September, euroMind hosted a group of trainees for three weeks from Zespol Szkol Technicznych in Plocku, Poland, in Seville to carry out a wide variety of different internships in differing sectors, including IT, photography and marketing assistants.
The main responsibilities of the IT technicians included installing, assembling and upgrading hardware and repairing or replacing broken parts (troubleshooting), examining and diagnosing hardware. The electronic technicians were responsible for assisting in the installation and replacement of different systems and parts and evaluating the quality of the electrical and electronic elements of the different equipment. Those who were trainee graphic designers helped in the preparation of offers for clients of the company, as well as conceiving, designing, modifying and creating images using programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel. The responsibilities of the fashion photographers were observing the photo session and video recording, taking pictures of models as well as making compositions of these photos and putting photos on the website. The photographer’s assistants were responsible for editing pictures with photo editing tools and determining methods of an image capturing with respect to aesthetic canons. Finally, the marketing and advertising assistants’ responsibilities included managing digital content of websites and social networks and participating in the process of creating and designing advertising materials.
Beyond working in their internships, the trainees had the opportunity to see much more of the Andalusian region. Firstly, they participated in a tour of Seville, organised by euroMind, in order to get to know the capital of Andalusia. They also attended a paella night where they were given the chance to make their own versions of this Andalusian specialty. They then visited Faro, a fascinating Portuguese city which combines an extensive history, interesting tourist attractions and an abundance of Portuguese charm. Gibraltar was next, where our trainees enjoyed a little bit of Britain in the very south of Europe and climbed up to the top of the Rock to admire the spectacular views stretching out to Morocco with the famous macaques! In Granada, the students enjoyed the great landscapes on offer, and learnt about all the different religions and cultures in the city. Finally, they visited Malaga, the largest city on the Costa del Sol, which is not only a city full of sun and beaches but also a city that invites us to explore its architecture, monuments, history, and the life of Pablo Picasso.
The trainees have valued the experience they received from their internships, combined with their learnt basics of the Spanish language and new appreciation for Spanish culture, traditions, and customs.

I loved my job as an IT technician. I worked in an RTV service and repairing electronic equipment. It gave me learning, development, satisfaction and pleasure. I valued my work in this company very much.

My opinion about working here is pretty simple, I LOVED IT! It’s one of the best jobs I have ever had. I was working in a really comfortable place and I didn’t need anything more because everything was here! The people here were really helpful and nice, moreover I think it was one of the best internships that you can get in Sevilla.
