In November, a group of 16 Polish students travelled to Seville to carry out an internship as mobile app programmers. They spent two amazing weeks gaining professional experience and enjoying their time in Spain.
The young interns had an excellent chance to expand their knowledge during the placement. Firstly, the basic architecture of device and Android system was presented to them. They also got to know how to install and configure the cross-platform ‘Eclipse’. Among the tasks carried out by the students, there were designing components of a mobile app as well as implementation of additional functions, such as geolocation technologies. Then, they could publish a complete mobile application, including formats app and apk, publication and management of the application on Google Play, usage of component AdMob.
The students also participated in cultural activities beyond their internship. They took part in a Spanish course which let them know some useful phrases and words. What is more, the interns went on trips to Ronda and Granada – cities located in a beautiful region of Andalusia. The students got to know the city in which they lived thanks to the Seville tour provided by euroMind. They had a great and fruitful time!
