About This Project

In October group of 7 trainees from Turkey, were hosted by euroMind in Malaga to gain a 3-weeks internship in the medical sector.
In Malaga students had an opportunity to see what their jobs looks like in another country, they were working as nurses. Also, trainees had different tusks which helped them increase their knowledge.

All students get a unique experience, they were providing care to the residents of the center. Monitoring all aspects of taking care of elderly people, including nutrition and physical activity. Providing treatment and medicines to the residents of the center under the supervision of doctors. Preparing elderly people for medical tests. Applying bandages to wounds if necessary. Giving injections. Handling documentation and records of the residents of the center. Accompanying elderly people in everyday activities.

During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills but also took part in different cultural activities such as the Malaga tour, Malaga Sea Life Oceanarium, Flamenco dance workshop.

Trainees have participated in a trip to Córdoba, a city in Andalucía, southern Spain. The city was conquered by Muslim armies in the eighth century and became the capital of the Islamic Emirate and then Caliphate of Córdoba, including most of the Iberian Peninsula.

The trainees had a great experience visiting Seville, the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain. The city is a historical masterpiece full of Islamic monuments, gardens, and flamenco festivals. They quickly realized that Seville is considered to be an architectural gem due to its well-preserved monuments such as the Cathedral and Giralda, the Royal Alcázar, and the General Archive of the Indies.

euroMind team did their best to deliver the best professional and cultural experience to the trainees of the project being always ready to help, give advice and solve any problems or doubts.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Sibel Sazli

It was a very different experience for me. I had many experiences such as getting to know different people and tasting their flavors and learning about their cultures. First of all, the institution where I did my internship was a very disciplined place, so I was a little scared, but it was not at all what I thought. I had a great internship.

Nigar Hoyrazpinar

First of all, I would like to thank my teachers who helped me come here, and Melissa and Dani who helped us with the project. Coming to Spain added a lot to my life, meeting different people, learning about different cultures, tasting the food here, and visiting historical places. It was very different things.
