About This Project

Our group of nineteen students from Braniewo (eastern Poland) came to Spain to improve their professional skills and competencies and to broaden their knowledge about the culture of Spain. Trainees were working in different sectors: in the hotel industry as a hotel employee, housekeeper or receptionist; as a cook’s assistant or an assistant chef, and in logistics – working as a logistic team assistant.

They all fell in love Andalusia from the first day. By attending to the course of Spanish and by speaking with Spanish tutors they have improved level of the Spanish language. They also had an opportunity to see one of the most beautiful cities of Andalusia: Malaga and Cordoba. The group from Braniewo enjoyed their internship a lot!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Małgorzata Nieścieruk:

I am very happy about my practice. I have learned how to wrap a pallet, how to work with documentation, with computer programmes and I have learned many new Spanish words. I like my tutor because he does his best, he speaks to me in English and Spanish. After a couple of days, we started to communicate very well and understand each other without any problem! Every day in Spain was wonderful for me. Jesus – my tutor – was friendly, helpful and funny! He taught me a lot of new skills. I recommend this internship for every student.

Daniel  Ciborowski:

The atmosphere at my work placement was amazing! Every colleague from the restaurant was kind and helpful. I improved my professional and language skills. I was cutting and peeling a lot of products. I have learned how to name them in Spanish! I am very happy about my practice. I had an opportunity to meet various wonderful people, especially Inez – she was really helpful and she taught me a lot. That was an amazing experience for me.

Aleksandra Szmejter:

I like my practice in Spain a lot, as everyone here is so openminded and friendly! My tutor is very good-humored and helpful. I have learned how to make the beds properly, how to fold the towels etc. My team was very hearted and we understood each other well, even though we do not speak the same language in everyday life! I highly recommend practice in Spain. It was a wonderful experience for me!
