A group of 19 students from Jawor (Poland) spent in May three weeks in Ubeda for an internship as mechanics, economics, logistics, and CNC. They came to Spain to learn more about their future jobs in theoretical and practical training courses and enhancing their knowledge and skills.
The economics trainees were creating and modify documents using office software and preparing, printing or scanning and placing documents in electronic and paper filing systems documents.
The car mechanics were assisting in car body repairing i.e. welding, brazing, riveting and performing basic mechanical operations like oil and filter change, disassembling, assembling and replacing defective parts, washing of engine and other car components.
The logistic interns were receiving the supplies and they were in charge of placing products in the warehouse and in the shop.
The trainees from the CNC sector were preparing computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines and monitoring the machining process.
All trainees took part in a Spanish course, what helped them to communicate at work and in everyday situations during their stay.
The group had the opportunity to visit many beautiful Spanish places and participate in various cultural activities.
In the first week of their internship, they went for a “tapas night” to try typical Spanish dishes in relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Another afternoon they made your own soap using only natural ingredients on the Natural Cosmetic workshop.
The group went on a trip to Monachil to walk alongside and through the Monachil river, and enjoy contemplate beautiful views, waterfalls, and the famous hanging bridges.
We hope that our trainees learned a big deal during their internship and that it will help them in the future in their privet and most of all in their professional lives.
