About This Project

In January group of 16 students from Grodzisk Wielkopolski, were hosted by euroMind in Malaga to gain a 3-weeks internship in different sectors.
In Malaga, students had an opportunity to see what their jobs look like in another country. Trainees had different tusks which helped them increase their knowledge. All students get a unique experience in different positions.
Here they were working as Logistics, IT Programmer, Administrative Assistant, Cooks.

Designing and developing web pages depending on their function. Exploring the latest information of the programming sector.

Administrative Assistants were creating and modifying documents using Microsoft Office. Performing general office duties. Using a photocopier, printer, and scanner. Preparing, scanning, and placing documents in electronic and paper filing systems. Maintaining and managing inventory control of materials and suppliers. Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments. Analyzing prices and purchasing office supplies.

Cooks were preparing the ingredients for consumption or cooking. Washing, peeling, cutting fruit and vegetables as well as cutting meat. Checking the quality of food, tasting, smelling, punching with utensils, etc. Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes and personal judgment with the use of available kitchen appliances and equipment. Adjusting the temperature of other kitchen equipment depending on the dishes being prepared.

During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills but also took part in different cultural activities such as the Malaga tour, Paella Night. Also, students visited Ronda, Sevilla.

Granada is the city of three religions and cultures: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. During the trip, the group had a chance to learn and experience a little bit of each of these cultures. Moreover, the students could enjoy the great variety of stunning landscapes and views that Granada has to offer since the city is located at the foot of a mountain range called the Sierra Nevada.

Students get sufficient Spanish courses with our Spanish teacher, we emphasize practice, so during lessons students play a lot, because we think the game is the best teacher. Spanish classes can be described in two words: dynamic and practical. That is why, after intensive and hard learning, the students had written an exam. All the participants passed with very good results!

euroMind team did their best to deliver the best professional and cultural experience to the trainees of the project being always ready to help, give advice and solve any problems or doubts.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Marcel Mykaj

I consider my stay in Malaga to be wonderful, I experienced many new and interesting attractions here. A place of work, very nice, co-workers are nice and open to new challenges like us. The nice thing about work was being able to contact people from Spain and communicate with them in their own language.

I was very pleased with the conditions there. I performed Excel tasks, printed documents, and rewrote contact lists. When I had free time, a nap was a must. After napping, we had Spanish classes which were a really good thing! In the evenings, I and the rest of the group went downtown or to the beach. When we came home, we spent a good time together. We laughed and joked a lot.

I will remember my time in Malaga very well. During a week in the magazine of Colors Malaga, where I was responsible for completing orders, taking care of the correct information and product location on the computer. On our days off from work, we do a lot of sightseeing, including the Picasso Museum.
