In March 2019, Euromind was pleased to welcome 8 students from Poland to do an internship in in various hair salons, all located in the Andalusian capital. Working as hairdressers, they all could learn more about this sector in a foreign country. Working everyday with professionals of the sector they could improve their skills helping them and doing some tasks such as:

-Organizing the workplace, selecting appropriate tools and supplies for hairdressers

-Understanding work organization and equipment usually used by Spanish hairdressers
-Dealing with customer service in accordance with the principles of culture and art of hairdressing

-Understanding the cosmetics and hair-care technologies used by Spanish hairdressers
-Using sterilization procedures of hairdressing utensils
-Lightening and discolorating of hair by using modern techniques and hairdressing utensils

–Washing customers’ heads and getting it ready for cutting or other treatments required

– Assisting in the performance of hair treatments, haircuts, and hairstyles

Besides the work placement, students had the opportunity to discover the beautiful city of Seville thanks to a city tour organized by Euromind team. They also traveled to Faro (Portugal) and Malaga in Andalusia and learnt more about Spanish and Portuguese cultures.
