For a period of three weeks during the summer of 2016, 14 Polish trainees made Seville their new home. 12 of them worked here as cooks, learning about the typical Spanish food and local specialties, washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and meat, seasoning and cooking meals using different methods and many more. The two other trainees improved their hairdressing skills; their tasks included hair lightening and discoloring, performing haircuts, creating new hairstyles and so on.
Outside their working hours the students had the opportunity to visit plenty of places in Spain. First of all, they were shown around the city and taken to places like the royal bullring. Next to that, they visited two of the most famous Andalusian cities, Cadiz and Malaga. Finally, they even left the country to visit the beautiful Portuguese city of Tavira. In order ensure good communication as well as fun during the stay, the trainees also followed a Spanish cours and obtained a certificate.
