In July a group of 16 students from Starachowice, Poland, were hosted by euroMind in Malaga to gain a 2-weeks internship as Logistics and Stock boys.
Students were working in different companies, but everyone got a unique experience and a fun time. The bigger part of trainees was working as Logistics, they were moving pallets and boxes to the store with the use of manual pallet truck. Opening cases of merchandise and sorting products. Placing all products in the warehouse (use staircase to access to shelves). Removing and placing products in the correct places. Handling carts, scanners, boxes, and large-size goods. Organizing products in the store and in the warehouse areas.
Stock Boys were marking and updating the prices of products. Supporting the data collection system. Assistance in assembling the necessary delivery devices. Observing the condition of equipment and successive replenishment of missing products.
At the same time as trainees had internships, they also had a lot of fun with euroMind coordinators. Students had a Malaga tour, they saw the most beautiful and interesting places in Malaga.
Also, they were travelling around the Andalusian region. Students visited Marbella, which is, without a doubt, one of Costa del Sol’s major tourist hot spots, thanks to the high quality of the facilities and services it provides. Puerto Banús, one of the main attractions for tourists who visit the town, holds an exclusive leisure area inside the excellent facilities of its marina.
Students went to Ronda as well, Ronda is a charming village located in the Andalusian mountains. During the day-trip the students were able to see the beautiful scenery surrounding Ronda including its well-preserved old town which has Arab Baths, defense walls and small churches. The trainees also got to visit the World’s oldest bullfighting ring which is used only once a year, and they learned about the history of this controversial tradition in the bullring’s museum.
Moreover trainees went to Nerja which is located on the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, has all the elements needed to charm any visitor. Its annual average temperature of around twenty degrees Celsius, its beautiful mountain landscape of La Axarquía region, as well as its rugged coastline of beaches and cliffs, are just some of its attractions.
EuroMind team hopes that all experience was satisfying for trainees, and it was an unforgettable adventure.

The internship gave me experience and the opportunity to get to know a new country. I was able to
see the local culture, new places and learn a new language. I am pleased that I had the opportunity
to do an internship abroad in such a picturesque place as Malaga. Thanks to this, I broadened my
knowledge of the English language and learned the basics of the Spanish language. Beautiful views
added even more advantages to this practice.
