In April, a wonderful group of 19 students from Radom, Poland, arrived in Málaga for their four-week internships as economists and freight forwarders.
Economists had their training together. They were split into two teams that worked on different aspects of the same, bigger, project. After three weeks they joined forces during the final presentation of their work that happened to be a perfectly organised volleyball event! The last week of their internships economists spent on getting to know new IT programs and feedback on their previous tasks.
Freight forwarders worked in various companies around Málaga, discovering many aspects of their future job. From gardening companies, logistic centres, shops to removal companies. They got to see how many possibilities are awaiting them in this sector.
In their free time, the group participated in Spanish language classes, which certainly helped them to feel more at ease with communication during their month-long stay. What’s more, the students also went on an excursion to Seville, the capital of the Andalusian region. They also had the opportunity to visit Ronda, where they were impressed by a 100-metre bridge.
We hope that this month spent in Málaga provided the students not only with many new experiences in the educational field, but also in the cultural and world-view field.

I enjoyed every day of my practice. I gained a lot of experience and increased my skills in activities such as working in a team or using new applications. It will help me in the future when I will be looking for a job. I improved my English and Spanish as well.

Thanks to the planning and implementation of the project, I developed many skills, including communication with others and working in a group, improved my time organization, learned how to deal with stressful situations and learned to work out compromises. My tutors were very helpful and nice throughout our stay and I would love to see them again.

I did a lot of exercises and projects, I learned how to work with people and in a team, how to organize an event, I also learned how to use applications like Trello and Slack. I improved my skills and knowledge of foreign languages (English and Spanish). In my free time, I visited many interesting places in Málaga. I had a chance to know new people and try regional food.
