About This Project

At the start of the new year 16 enthusiastic Polish students made their way to Seville in order to take part in an exciting training programme regarding mechatronics. During their three-week stay the students were given the opportunity to make use of their priorly-gained technical skills, whilst also improving their professional and linguistic skills in the process.

Their main tasks included the following:

  • Familiarizing with safety health requirements in machining workshop.
  • Traditional machining of rotation parts.
  • Learning the basics of CNC programming.
  • Design of 3D parts using a computer and CAD/CAM software.
  • Understand the machining process using a computer and CAD/CAM software.
  • Create a simulation and verification of the machining process using a computer and CAD/CAM software.

During their stay the trainees managed to successfully complete their traineeships whilst also leaving a positive impression on their tutors. But apart from work, the trainees still had plenty of time left to explore the beautiful sights of Sevilla as well as other Andalusian cities, such as Córdoba.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Damian Gabriel:

‘My trip to Sevilla was one of the best experiences of my life . This trip gave me a chance to be better at my job, but I have also learned something about the Spanish culture and I have met a lot of new people. I was learning CNC programming in Salesians School. It was really interesting and awesome that  one program can create all the required engine. Sevilla is a realy beautiful place, I am so happy I was given the opportunity to see it’

Bartosz Nowogórski:

‘I came here because I wanted to learn something more about my profession and I wanted to learn something about the Spanish culture. I just loved our “cultural activities”. This project gave me a chance to have a better and richer life in the future. Our practices were very interesting. In my future I want find a job where I can work with CNC-related machines and tools. Sevilla is a beautiful city. In the future I want to come back here because I have had so much fun!’
