12 Croatian students from the Industrijsko-obrtnička škola Šibenik (Industry and Crafts School Šibenik) carried out their internship in our lovely Sevilla. The group spent two weeks in February.
The trainees measured voltage, as well as using multimeter according to the inclination grade. The second main task was to gather the panels in series and in parallel and checking their parameters. The students learned how to calculate and design a solar installation on a computer. In addition to this, they assembled plumbing installation with the solar pumps and a solar lamps with a twilight switch. After that, they had to assemble an electrical panel, AC power circuits, and solar circuits of the house.
During their free time, they had an opportunity to visit different cities in the region of Andalusia. The group had a trip to Gibraltar, where they could visit the Natural Park and the caves. A trip to Aracena was also organised, where they could visit another beautiful cave. Students visited Plaza de Toros in Sevilla and they enjoyed a pure flamenco show.
We wish them all the best because they deserve it 🙂

We assembled and installed the solar panels, for the heating system on the roof. I could learn how to install solar panels, and install them. I really liked how we were working in teams and I could learn with my friends. I liked the accommodation, our work place and also Sevilla is very nice and it was safe so we could enjoy the city.

We assembled a solar house with solar thermal panels and a boiler. So we could practice how to install and organize all the work to build solar energy. I learned how to connect electric wires and everything about solar panels. I liked how everything was clean and in order and everything was brand new. The mentor was a really nice guy and very professional. I have only positive feedback. I loved it here, I would like to come again for sure.
