About This Project

For three weeks from May to June in 2019, we had the pleasure of hosting 12 IT students from Bulgaria to do an internship as 3D printer operators.

.

The students were assigned to work in a Company specialized in designing and improving 3D printing, offering a presentation of products, animation, analysis development, development of prototypes, design and implementation of test and test protocols. The students had an opportunity to put themselves to the test, and enhance their skills in several tasks including but not limited to using manufacturing programs such as 3D Mesh, creating 3D models and discussing their limitations, operating and monitoring machines for cutting, drilling and polishing plastic and metal, exporting, processing and repairing files.

.

Apart from work experience, the group had the opportunity to develop their communicative Spanish through an intensive fun language classes. They also participated in study visits to companies that allowed the students to explore the equipment used to stage the events in 3D performances and manufacturing processes.

.

Last but not least, the trainees made the most of many cultural activities such as Seville tour, paella and tapas nights, flamenco show, bike tour and Guadalquivir river cruise.

.

We wish our trainees all the best in their future endeavors!
