About This Project

In July, 15 students from Profesionalna gimnazia ‘Asen Zlatarov’ in Bulgaria came to Málaga for internships.

The students were divided into two groups according to their professions: IT and administrative specialist. The IT specialists worked on developing an application, which allowed them to broaden their technical skills set and gain new ones.

The administration students worked together on a project, learning about resource management, and also learning about the economic and marketing aspects of their future profession.

In their free time, the students went on an excursion to Granada, known in history as the last city under Arab influence to come under the rule of the Spanish kings first in 1492. The students also visited Ronda, where they were able to see Spain’s oldest corrida arena and a breathtaking 100-metre bridge connecting the two sides of the city.

Thank you for these two weeks!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Ventsislav Ivanov

I wanted to go to Spain, because I have never been far from my homeland. In general, I liked it, and what I expected was different from reality. There was definitely a lot to see, especially in Ronda, a city that we took a trip to, but Malaga is also beautiful. I worked for a computer gaming company, where I had the position of a game developer. With the help of my employers, we made two games – piano and playing with tanks, which we have been doing since the first week. The rest of the time I hung out with my friends and explored the beautiful town of Malaga.

Viktoria Angelova

I always wanted to go to Spain, because it was my childhood dream. I liked the nature, the palm trees, the greenery, the cleanliness of the streets, the evening walks and the new friends I made there. I worked in a company, where the tasks were varied and interesting, and related to administration and economics. We worked in teams and this made us practice our English skills. In our free time we went shopping, we went to the beach, and in the evening we went for a walks to the port to eat something sweet and then back home, I did not want to go back to Bulgaria, because I liked it in Spain very much.
