About This Project

In July 15 IT students from Rzeszów in Poland came to Seville to improve their skills as Mobile Apps Developers for 3 weeks. Students were able to get to know innovative programs and applications used by company. They also developed their skills in software e.g. designing navigation system of mobile apps. Moreover, students learnt about the elements of user interface and programming mobile device. After practice, they did not waste their time, enjoying the capital of Andalusia and other charming places such as Cádiz, Matalascañas and Málaga. Hope they will remember this adventure for a long time!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Paweł Borowiec

After almost 3 weeks in Spain, I can finally say something about my experiences. On the first day, we went to Sevilla old town to see the most famous buildings like the Cathedral and Metropol Parasol. At the weekend we visited Cádiz and went to the beach. I really like Spain and the way our
coordinator organised trips. The internship was very informative and I learned a lot. I feel very lucky to be part of such a project

Karol Kalandyk

This summer I had a three-week internship in Spain at a mobile Game development company. During the internship, we were learning how to code and develop mobile android applications. In order to develop new apps, first our tutor Damian had to familiarize us with Android Studio Integrated Development Environment and Java programming language. Over the course of two weeks, I learned the basics of mobile software development. I had to get familiar with an android API and learn many new programming concepts. Over the last week of the internship we were developing our own final app and I had to use all of the previously acquired knowledge to be able to finish my app. Additionally, apart from the internship, we had many amazing sightseeing trips e.g. to Malaga or Cadiz. The more memorable trip was when we were at the sandy beaches of Matalascañas because of the nice water temperature and sand. I think that our stay in Spain was awesome, I would be glad to go there again and have a great time again!

During this course, we learnt how to create Android apps using Android Studio and Java language. Our final goal was to create our own app/game with our idea. Through this course, we also had 3 trips outside Sevilla. Personally, my favourite trip was to Matalascañas where we could rest laying on a beach or swim in the ocean. I spent those 3 weeks very well.
