They are a bilingual education centre with over 30 years of experience in vocational training in the following fields: electricity, electronics, administration, computer science and trade. During the group training students had learn and were introduced to many new tasks:

– The process of creating and running software projects for Android: installation and configuration of ECLIPSE environment
– Implementation of the system of switching between the two screens designed applications: data transfer
– Testing the application template on the emulator and on the device. Processes: run, debug, transfer (import) applications
– Designing navigation system in mobile apps: menu options, contextual menu items SlideMenu and NavigationDrawer, tabs
– Usage of the built-in hardware components of mobile devices application such as: camera, camcorder, media player, GPS receiver, compass, stopwatch
– Implementation of geolocation technologies, GoogleMaps, Navigation Drawer
– Publication of a complete mobile application: formats app and apk, publication and management of the application on Google Play, usage of component AdMob

Besides the group training, students also had a study visit to the first crowd working centre open within the project Andalucia Open Future. The idea of the centre is to offer acceleration programs for start-ups from highly innovative sectors that are dealing with ICT technologies. During the visit, the group, similar to web developers and engineers working in start-ups, can learn how to develop innovative ideas, making them more global, competitive and attractive for potential investors. The students familiarize themselves with technologies used by supported teams. Add to that, students also had their free time, and with the help of EuroMind could make most of it. Activities such as Seville city tour or tapas night were organized by our team, also students with EuroMind Tour guide had a trip to Cadiz, which is in southwestern Spain, located by the ocean from where Christopher Columbus started the expedition aimed at discovering new land. All in all, the project went successfully and students had all the opportunities to learn more about mobile apps programming, while discovering Southern Spanish culture and enjoying sun!

I really loved my stay in Seville! It was a great opportunity to learn a lot about programming, which will surely help me in my future career. The praxis was easy to follow and very entertaining. I enjoyed it very much. Also, Ive learned a lot about the culture of Seville, how people live here and the differences of Spain and our home country. Hopefully, I can visit Seville again in the future!

My stay in Sevilla was phenomenal. The accomodation, the food, the people, the city are simply amazing. The training was super interesting and the teacher himself was keeping us disciplined and taught us a lot of new things. I will surely think about coming back one day again.
