For a period of 2 weeks in March 2019, we welcomed 10 trainees from Cyprus who came to Spain to carry out a creative internship in Seville designing flamenco dresses.

During their internship in one of the biggest and most modern fashion schools in Andalucía engaging itself in plenty of projects, the students carried out several tasks, some of which included preparation of a small flamenco dresses collection, starting from the preparation of outline silhouettes to go to the preparation of three projects outfits that will be illustrated, and working with the model of corps and developing the appropriate tailor pattern.

The results of the trainees’ work, charming flamenco dresses, prove the excellence of their group training experience.

In addition to work placement, the group enjoyed a guided Seville city tour and a practical Spanish course. They also went to other cities such as Granada and Malaga. They could participate in a flamenco show, not only to watch this enchanting performance but also to try themselves a 20-minute flamenco dance masterclass.

It was a great pleasure for us to collaborate with this lovely group of trainees for whom we wish this experience will be unforgettable!
