About This Project

In the beginning of March, a group of 22 Polish students from the city of Rzeszów arrived in Malaga for a three-week placement. They were there to develop their skills and learn new things in web programming and app development.

During their stay in Spain, in order to overcome the language barrier with their colleagues and tutors they took a 10-hour Spanish course which help them feel more comfortable to speak to the locals.

Thanks to their mobility, they had the opportunity to visit the city of Malaga and enjoy a football game in the well-known La Rosaleda stadium. They also visited the wonderful city of Granada and explored La Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It was such a pleasure to welcome so talented and curious trainees, hope that in the future we will have such cheerful groups!

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Oskar Samborowski

I have never traveled by plane before which was an amazing experience. Moreover, I have never been to a country that is not directly neighboring my motherland – Poland. I have enjoyed exploring new territories and walking around downtown Malaga, tasting new food and “jamón” has found a place in my heart. Icing on the cake: the warm weather. In the office, we were working with Unity (software) to create apps for mobile devices (phones). Our last project was a 3D virtual reality simulator. The people there are open and friendly, they are pleased when you sit next to them on the bus. We have visited plenty of cultural places and museums. From now on, I will associate Malaga with parrots and palm trees.

I wanted to go to Spain because it is the perfect city to grow mentally and explore new places and cultures which is what I love the most. I also wanted to learn even more about programming. I worked on 2D and 3D programming, we made games and a lot of fun things. Our tutor was an amazing person, very polite, helpful and funny and we never got bored. The best part in 2D and 3D is that in Poland we do not study anything similar. It was new for us but it was very interesting. We discovered programming from a different side and we will use this knowledge in the future because now it is very common and up-to-date in IT.
