About This Project

 In April 2019, Euromind greeted a group of 15 polish students  to learn more about Programming mobile apps in Seville.

 

Participants had a group training in a school which offers a wide range of educational possibilities: nursery, primary, secondary and high school, and also vocational training (initial, intermediate and advanced levels). They are a bilingual education centre with over 30 years of experience in vocational training in the following fields: electricity, electronics, administration, computer science and trade.

 

During the group training students had learn and were introduced to many new tasks such as testing the application template on the emulator and on the device, designing components of user interface in mobile application, using templates, designing navigation system in mobile apps: menu options, contextual menu items SlideMenu and NavigationDrawer, tabs, usage of the builtin hardware components of mobile devices application such as: camera, camcorder, media player, GPS receiver, compass, stopwatch, design and implementation of database maintenance in mobile app using database structures, application queries in SQL, modification and updating data, implementation of geolocation technologies, GoogleMaps, Navigation Drawer, publication of a complete mobile application: formats app and apk, publication and management of the application on Google Play, usage of component AdMob…

 

Apart from their training, the trainees also carried out a study visit in a center which offers acceleration programs for start-ups from highly innovative sectors that are dealing with ICT technologies, enjoyed a Seville tour with one of our guides, went out for a tapas night, took a trip to Cadiz, went to Gibraltar and had Spanish classes. There is no getting bored here!

About our stay in Spain I can say it was perfect. Each day was a really good experience. Food was always fresh and tasty. Spanish lessons, with our teachers were very interesting, and personally I learned really useful verbs and sentences. Programming lessons, and the way of explaining of things, patience of Teacher was great, it encourages to come back. To sum up, I learned useful things and gained an experience that can be useful in my work in future.

In my opinion, project ERASMUS was important for my future career. The project helps me working in a group. Our tutor was helpful. The accommodation was excellent. The food was delicious and there was a lot of it. The staff of Euromind was kind and helpful.
