In February group of 16 students from Żagań, arrived in Malaga to carry 2 weeks-long internships as Virtual Reality Programmer. Students get an opportunity to practice with professional tutors and learn new information about their jobs, also they were lucky to live in other cultures and discover other cities in Andalucia region.
Trainees were programming with Unity, implement XR systems in an interdisciplinary and self-organized team. Writing and maintaining the technical design and documentation of the software system. Analyzing and optimizing systems as needed. Using layout programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, C++, HTML, and CSS. Creating and iterating new VR and AR systems for interaction and content creation.
During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills but also took part in different cultural activities such as Malaga Catamaran Trip. Also, trainees visited Mijas, one of the jewels of the Costa del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas. Nestled comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level; it is a superb choice for both a summer holiday and full time living. Many artists and writers have made it their home, enjoying the benefits of an excellent all-year-round climate, without being part of the busier, more commercial coastal towns just 7 kilometers down the mountainside. During their trip to Mijas, the trainees made the most of their time by relaxing on the gorgeous Playa de la Cala Mijas and visiting the beautiful squares (Plaza de la Constitución y de España).
Students get sufficient Spanish courses with our Spanish teacher, we emphasize practice, so during lessons students play a lot, because we think the game is the best teacher. Spanish classes can be described in two words: dynamic and practical. That is why, after intensive and hard learning, the students had written an exam. All the participants passed with very good results!
2 weeks in Malaga were surely an unforgettable experience, we hope students gained a lot of practical knowledge and skills and that some of them might have enjoyed Spain that much they would like to come back there in the future!

This project was a really great experience for me. I have learned very interesting things such as operating with unity, coding on C# language and I have completed a Spanish language course. Malaga was really great place to explore in my free time. I really loved the attitude of Spanish people. The food was really good and the residence was really well equipped.

My name is Michael. The course was interesting. I learned new things like programming. The Spanish lessons were very useful. The teachers were very nice to us and it was nice to spend time with them. The food in the canteen was good. The staff smiling and very nice. Mrs. Ania, our coordinator provided us with good conditions. There was not enough time to cover the topic of internships. Malaga is a beautiful city and Spain is a beautiful country.

The trip was dedicated to learning the Spanish language and programming virtual reality games. I enjoyed both the Spanish lessons and the internship, and I think I’ve learned a lot of knowledge that could be useful for me in the future. The city we were in, Malaga, turned out to be very beautiful. We came during the carnival, which gave this place its charm. Just as cool were the trips that were planned for us. The beautiful city of Mijas and the catamaran ride were great examples of Spain.
