About This Project

In May 2019 a group of motivated Polish students from Tarnów was welcomed in Seville. They came here to develop their professional skills in different fields and on different positions – electronic, electricians and IT. They were allocated in various Host Organizations which provided them the best experience they could gain. With all their courage and curiosity, they were able to explore the little known facts of science and improve their competencies.

Responsibilities of electricians group were assisting in the installation of the electrical equipment, preparing components of the hydro technical systems by applying appropriate techniques and procedures and supervising the correct functioning of the already existing electrical systems of the building. Moreover, they repaired defective installations, machines and electrical devices – and of course – all that under the supervision of the experienced tutors.

The group working in the field of electronics was mainly getting knowledge in drone’s production, which they all agreed – was very interesting period for their careers. They were responsible for preventing potential accidents that may happen during the assembly, welding process with tin before putting it into practice on the assembly, building a drone from scratch and then completing it. They worked using Arduino with JAVA and other programs which is an important skill they have now. The interns were creating a joystick to control the drone flight and controlling a drone using different types of movements, flight modes, configuration, etc.

IT students learned to operate testing equipment to diagnose malfunctions, furthermore they tested, diagnosed and repaired electronic circuit boards as well as performed preventive maintenance, cleaning and lubricating an electronic equipment. They were also assisting in the installation of different systems and testing newly acquired equipment for functioning ability. Now programming is definitely more interesting and enjoyable for them.

Besides the hard work the students did, they were provided an intensive Spanish language course, done by euroMind’s great teachers who did their best to make the classes interactive and fun. In their free time, the group went on some trips – like beautiful Seville tour – where they saw the most spectacular monuments of the city. One great activity they did was going on flamenco show, where they could experience a real Andalusian atmosphere. All this made their stay absolutely unforgettable.

Thanks to Erasmus+ project.  I am grateful that I had the opportunity to live in a beautiful country, learn about culture and improve my professional skills.  Internship allowed me to understand how the process of creating a drone follows.  I visited many interesting places and met great residents.  It was an amazing experience.  I am glad that I participated in this project.

This internship was an amazing experience that extended my knowledge and gave me an idea for my future job. Thanks to DroneTools I learned a lot of useful skills I will surely use. I can’t imagine my life now without this outstanding experience that I earned here. People here are amazing and very kind. The place we were staying at was clean and had delicious food. I wish I could experience this again and come back to these wonderful people I met here.
