PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Aleksandra Leśniewska

During my stay in Seville, I did an internship at hotel, where I helped to clean the rooms. I also washed the tables and put the tableware on them. Sometimes I also helped in the kitchen. The work was not very tiring, but pleasant thanks to the good atmosphere and the nice colleagues. During the trip, on the first week we were to Cordoba, on the second to beautiful Granada and on the third to Cadiz by the Atlantic Ocean. Once a week we had interesting Spanish lessons and during the week we visited Seville and its famous sites. There was also time for pleasure and shopping.

My trip to Spain for apprenticeship was a great experience for me, where I could learn a lot of things related to my future profession and more. During the internship, I learnt how to repair, install and maintain internal and external air conditioning systems. In the first week we went to Cordoba, the warmest city in Spain, where we visited the mosque and much more. The second week was also exciting because we went to see Seville and we went to the Metropol Parasol to see the panorama of Seville from above. We also went to Granada to visit Alhambra. During this stay, I also learnt how to use some basic phrases in Spanish.

The foreign internships in Spain were a huge lesson for me, I had the opportunity to acquire new skills and see new interesting sites of the city and surrounding towns. During the internship, I learned how to use the equipment in the bookstore and how to work with the production of notebooks. An interesting place we visited was the warmest city in Europe – Córdoba, where the temperature in the shade was 48 degree. A big surprise for me was the view of the whole city, which we could admire from the top of the Metropol Parasol. The Spanish lessons were conducted in a very interesting and inviting way during various types of team activities.
