The 12 Bulgarian students from the school Profesionalna gimnaziya po turizŭm in Pleven, came to sunny Seville to spend 2 weeks, during which they had practice in the fields of hospitality, thermal treatments and spa or rehabilitation.

The students from the hospitality spent a great time spanish hotels and restaurantes, they were learning how to set tables with clean linen or placemats, to welcome the customers, seating them and handing them menus. Also they must learnt how to take customers’ orders and passing them to kitchen staff or bar attendants, serving food or drinks and collecting table reservations. The students that had practice in the kitchen, were p reparing the ingredients for consumption or cooking, weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes and personal judgment  with the use of available kitchen appliances and equipment and learning about typical Spanish cuisine and local specialties.

The students from the field thermal treatments and spa or rehabilitation were practising how to repare the work area with the necessary means and identify the guidelines for its maintenance, perform treatment with specific products for each type of skin, creating a technical sheet for a possible client and analyze the work protocol to be carried out .

In the free time they were discovering the Spanish culture and cuisine vc, During the weekend, they had a great trip to a beautiful place in Andalusia, the city of Cordoba. After their internship, students will acquire a lot of new knowledge and skills that I will be able to apply in their country.
