In Jun, group of 18 students from Secondary School Complex in Pszów together with their teachers visited Malaga to do a 2-weeks internship in two different fields: car mechanics and advertisement designers.
Car mechanics worked on different tasks, for example, helping with the installation and replacement of car air conditioning, assisting in aligning and repairing wheels, helping in lifting the vehicle to a specified level, using a hydraulic jack, performing basic services and repair activities related to car servicing, i.e., oil and filters change, defective parts replacement, washing of the engine and other car components. Advertisement designers worked on the other tasks, designing a custom logo and vectorizing it: designing a brand with vector software (monochrome and achromatic versions), analysing the corporate identity guide, and creating new corporate graphic resources (patterns, icons, symbols, etc.), selecting colours, fonts and patterns for the assigned project, selecting and editing images with editing software: retouching, colour correction, levels, layers. Creating cover words and witty phrases: tag line, using the appropriate typography, line spacing and regulating the distance between characters (kerning), developing marketing strategy (analysing the correct promotion on the Internet, selecting information channel in the context of the order and creating a publication for Instagram and Facebook), work with social networks: creating an individual publication that contains a slogan, a retouched photo, a location, and a hashtag, mock-up: presentation of applications and merchandising, selecting media and tools according to the needs.
During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills, but they also took part in different cultural activities such as Malaga tour, Malaga Boat Trip Catamaran and workshops which allowed them to get acquainted with Spanish culture and feel like Spanish people in the city of Malaga.
The trainees also had the opportunity to travel around the Andalucía region and see amazing places, such as Sevilla, Granada.
In Sevilla trainees visited Plaza de España, Catedral de Sevilla, Real Alcazar de Sevilla, Torre del Oro. As Seville is the capital and the largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia, it is easy to get lost here, however thanks to the tour organized by euroMind´s team, the trainees were able to admire the city safely and in a pleasant atmosphere.
During the trip the group had a chance to learn and experience a little bit of each religion culture: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, because Granada is a city of three cultures. Moreover, the students could enjoy the great variety of stunning landscapes and views that Granada has to offer since the city is located at the foot of a mountain range called Sierra Nevada.
Apart from cities, students have visited one of the most beautiful place in Andalucía – Caminito del Rey. Is a walkway across The Gorge Desfiladero de los Gaitanes which is a natural gorge, situated in the center of the province, between the towns of Alora, Antequera and Ardales.

Spain is very nice, there are many interesting and beautiful places. Super organized trips thanks to
Ms. Anna. Practices are on a high level. Nice atmosphere, boss and workers are very cheerful and
charming. They show us what to do and are willing to help us if we don’t know how to do something. I
got to know new machines and their service. Hostel in which we stayed except food has no
shortcomings. Hygiene is maintained, and the staff is polite. Thanks to this trip, I gained new
experience. I met great people and places.

In my opinion, the internships are very well organized. The atmosphere there is very pleasant.
Thanks to Ms. Asia, who translates into Polish, I know what valuable advice Mr. Alex gives. For sure
it has stimulated my creativity and desire to do my job. I really did not think that I would have such
a nice time while acquiring new skills. In addition, Spain is a beautiful country, so the more desire
to act. The hotel where we live has everything we need. Additional attractions that we have in our
free time are great and have beautiful views. Generally, I do not regret that I participate in the
project.
