About This Project

The group of 14 excellent students from Koprivnica in Croatia came to Seville in November to carry out their internship as CNC and ebuggy developers. The students had opportunity to put into practice what they had been taught at school! They have learnt also new interesting things. They were working not only with computer, but also using welding and hardware tools to assemble the chassis of the vehicle. They measured and reviewed the angles of the welding for quality control. They’ve achieved the goal of acquiring the necessary skills to make an electric buggy! Congrats! Not only did they work. During their free time, the group visited Alhambra (Granada), Córdoba with the Mosque-Cathedral. Moreover, they were exploring beautiful corners of capital of Andalusia with Alcazar, as well as FC Seville Stadium and watching sunset from Metropol Parasol! Hope, they will remember this adventure for a long time! See you soon!

I have only positive things to say about the whole project. Before I got here I was scared that the tutors would have too high expectations of us and that I would not be able to manage the tasks we were given, but everything worked out perfectly and the tutors were so friendly, positive and were always ready to help! I recieved a lot of experience in both CNC programming and the assembly of e-buggy.

My favourite subject in first grade was a technical drawing where we worked in Solid Edge which was similar to Catia so I had some experience in that field, but I learned a lot of things about 3D modeling here which I did not know before and I am happy that I got a chance to see the CNC machine in action! About the e-buggy, I am very happy and proud that I have learned how to use the welding machine and how to measure, cut and grind metal in such a short amount of time. All of the instructions and technical sketches we got were easy to follow and both Antonios always set us on the right path when we got stuck with some task.

The first week of practice was a little difficult for me because I did not know much about CNC programming, but I learned a lot with the excellent professor.  So I would give a 10/10 for the first week. The second week was more interesting for me because I understand more about working with tools. If I had problems, there were professors who were patient and always ready to help, and they were also always in the mood to have fun. I would also give it a 10/10. The translator Julia helped us the first week. She was very kind and always ready to help. She translated everything we needed. I really liked the residence we were in. It had all the necessary things for us, teenagers. I like that every day we got a new lunch, salami, snacks, juices, fruit. I also liked the fact that we got the things we were looking for as soon as possible. I also really liked the Spanish course. In a very short time, we learned all the most necessary things for communication in Spain.
