About This Project

In April 18 excellent students from Poland arrived to Sevilla to carry out a 2 weeks long internship as technicians of geodetic surveying and landscape architects. They made measurements, coordinated calculations and used the topographic equipment. During practices the students also took care of plants and knew different plant species. After hours, they could walk around Sevilla; moreover – they visited Cádiz and Cordoba. Hope they will remember this internship for long.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Natalia Nowak

My opinion of the internship is very good. Through my internship in Seville, I was able to gain the experience I needed for my profession. The supervisors and staff were very nice and helpful. There was always a good atmosphere at work. They have given us many suggestions that I can implement in my future professional life. The resort  where we stayed for our stay in Seville is perfectly located. It is close to many popular attractions. The Spanish food at the hotel was delicious and the staff very polite. Thanks to the internship, I had the opportunity to visit places that I would not visit on my own. Our coordinator, Mrs. Kasia, was very polite and helpful. Overall, I’m very happy with this trip and I’m glad I had the opportunity to come to Seville.

Nikola Kędziora

The internships in Seville have been very exciting. I was able to work on new, high-quality equipment under the supervision of an experienced surveyor Raul. He was very helpful and polite. The conditions in the residence were very good, as well as the food we were served. We also visited beautiful Cádiz and Cordoba.

Natalia Doroz

My overall assessment of the internship is very positive. I am very pleased with the place where the internship took place and with our employer Raul who is a very helpful person, he showed us many useful skills. During the classes, we had the opportunity to use modern equipment and the AutoCAD
computer program, it was very fun to try something new. We have been given many tips which we will be able to easily use in our future professional life. The place of accommodation was situated in a great location which made it easy to explore the area. The room equipment was good, and the
general order in the room was taken care of every day. The service was very polite and helpful. The meals were good and sufficient, the amount of food was quite large and you could get a fill of it. Free time was very well organized, I really enjoyed the trips to Cádiz and Córdoba. Apart from them, we visited many places in Seville which I consider a great experience.

Paulina Widanka

The internship in Seville is an unforgettable experience. I have learned how to prune trees and how to replant seedlings. Employers advised us and organised our work. Despite the different languages that we speak, they tried to explain everything well. They took care of our well-being and working conditions. Thanks to the internships, I got to know new plant species unknown in Poland and the methods of growing plants. The stay in Spain was a very nice experience for me. I saw a lot of interesting places, and trips to Cadiz and Cordoba will stay in my memory for a long time.
