About This Project

The slovenian group of students from the school Šolski center Ljubljana, finished their practice from the fields mechanical engineering and woodworking in Sevilla city.

The 4 students of woodworking were supporting installation of wooden furniture and other carpentry elements, using the tools, machines, and equipment necessary to perform the tasks assigned and assisting in the manufacture of wooden products. Other group of students from the field – mechanical engineering were learning the basics of CNC programming, manual programming using a computer or designing 3D parts using a computer and CAD/CAM software.

The students enjoyed a lot their trip to Cadiz, where they could enjoy the beautiful beach and discover the historical monuments of this city. It was definitely an amazing choice and they could enjoy a sunny day in a beautiful Andalusian city, and get to know other Spanish corners.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

David Grad

I enjoyed to work with Fidel. Though he did not speak much English he tried his best and helped us with our work. We had translator with us so it was easier to communicate. The program that we used (CATIA 5) took some time to get used to it, but after some time it became easy to use. We were quite near the school, so this was nice. All in all, it was a very good experience and I would repeat any time.

Bor Kralj

Working in Salesianos was very good in my opinion. Our mentor was very kind to us was always there to help us and we had good communication. Transport to Salesianos was okay and it didn’t take long. I would love to experience something like this again with no problem. We were never bored and always had work to do.
