About This Project

In July group of 16 Polish students from Starachowice, were hosted by euroMind in Malaga to gain a 2-weeks internship as 3D Solid Edge Mechanical Designers.

All students were working in one company but they had different tasks and responsibilities, for example, they were interpreting plans. Operating and monitoring machines for cutting, drilling, and polishing plastic and metal. Placing and at the end of the process removing the piece of plastic and metal from the 3D printer and the machine. Cleaning, lubricating, and carrying out maintenance of the machinery. Using software to design pieces. Creating 3D models and discussing their limitations.

During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills but also took part in different cultural activities such as the Malaga tour. Also, students visited Nerja.

Nerja, located on the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, has all of the elements needed to charm any visitor. Its annual average temperature of around twenty degrees Celsius, its beautiful mountain landscape of La Axarquía region, as well as its rugged coastline of beaches and cliffs, are just some of its attractions. Nerja has more than its fair share of fabulous beaches, Burriana and Torrecilla being the main ones, which boast 16 kilometers of powdery sand and sparkling clear water, and a splattering of small coves to explore. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing.

Granada is the city of three religions and cultures: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. During the trip, the group had a chance to learn and experience a little bit of each of these cultures. Moreover, the students could enjoy the great variety of stunning landscapes and views that Granada has to offer since the city is located at the foot of a mountain range called the Sierra Nevada.

euroMind team did their best to deliver the best professional and cultural experience to the trainees of the project being always ready to help, give advice and solve any problems or doubts.

PARTICIPANTS’ OPINIONS

Krystian Borek

An internship with euroMind in Malaga was the best thing that ever happened to me. I learned how to really work in my field, how to manage my time, and how to behave professionally. Going to another country opened me up to people and talking to them in another language. This trip was my dream and it lasted far too short, but I still hope that one day I will have the opportunity to repeat such a beautiful adventure that I will never forget.

 Błażej Woliński

The time I spent in Spain during an internship in euroMind was above all of my expectations. To be honest, I thought I will just go to a different country get to know a bit of culture and come back, but I totally fell in love with this place. I met so many people that I will never forget and saw so many beautiful places. I got the opportunity to see how my future can look like and for that, I’m really grateful.

In my opinion, the internship was a great experience. I learned a lot about my profession and I will surely take many tips into consideration while doing my next job. I got to know the culture of the country and I could visit many interesting places.
