About This Project

In October group of 16 students from Grodzisk Wielkopolski arrived in Malaga to carry out a 3-weeks internship in logistic sectors.
Students learned new information, which helped them in their future careers. During the internship they had different tasks, each tusk helped them understand how to make work more efficient, also they were lucky to make new friends and live in other culture, during their staying trainees were hosted by euroMind.

All students get a unique experience in different positions. Here they were working as Administrative, logistic operators, Computer Numerical Control operators, Logistics.

Logistics were opening boxes of goods and classifying products. Placing products in the warehouse (access to the shelves via the staircase). Take products to the store and place them on the shelves. Handling carts, scanners, boxes, and weights. Ordering products in the shop and warehouse area.

Computer Numerical Control operators were dismantling the CNC machines/ lathes /machining centers. Cleaning machines. Making reparations and assembling machines. Making mechanical and electronic repairs. Analyzing breakdowns. Making external repairs (assisting the technicians).

Administrative were providing professional, courteous, and friendly service to the clients. Creating and modifying documents using Microsoft Office. Performing general office duties. Using photocopier, printer, and scanner.

Logistic operators were moving pallets and boxes to the store with the use of a manual pallet truck. Opening cases of merchandise and sorting products. Placing all products in the warehouse (use staircase to access to shelves). Removing and placing products in the correct places.

During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills but also took part in different cultural activities such as the Malaga tour. Also, students were traveling around the Andalusian region, they visited Ronda, Granada.

Granada is the city of three religions and cultures: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. During the trip, the group had a chance to learn and experience a little bit of each of these cultures. Moreover, the students could enjoy the great variety of stunning landscapes and views that Granada has to offer since the city is located at the foot of a mountain range called the Sierra Nevada.

Ronda is a charming village located in the Andalusian mountains. During the day-trip, the students were able to see the beautiful scenery surrounding Ronda including its well-preserved old town which has Arab Baths, defense walls, and small churches. The trainees also got to visit the World’s oldest bullfighting ring which is used only once a year, and they learned about the history of this controversial tradition in the bullring’s museum.

Students get sufficient Spanish courses with our Spanish teacher, we emphasize practice, so during lessons students play a lot, because we think the game is the best teacher. Spanish classes can be described in two words: dynamic and practical. That is why, after intensive and hard learning, the students had written an exam. All the participants passed with very good results!

There was a great family atmosphere during the internship. The job was great, and so was the weather. Sun, beach, I missed nothing. euroMind rocks!

For 3 weeks I worked in a hair products warehouse. I learned a lot about packing orders and preparing them for transport. In my spare time, I visited the surroundings and beautiful cities. I bought various souvenirs and tried local dishes.
